Yuri was silent for a moment, still gripping the book in front of himself. It was quite obvious that both of them knew perfectly well what was going on with one another. It was impossible not to. Hardly anyone that was on this ship seemed to be free of the burden of children in their bellies.
"They know I'm busy."
His voice was clipped, irritated a moment longer. Then he's shrugging, waving his hand flippantly as he lets the book drop away. No point in trying to hide something they both knew perfectly well was there. Yuri's frame was simply too small to effectively hide anything of this sort.
"Victor is the one who will be worried. And how would you even explain any of this?"
He crosses his arms, finger still holding his place in the book.
"At least I don't need to explain anything to anyone."
