A. Welcome to The Ship
Arriving to the ship for the first time can be disorientating, but there are maps everywhere. A good night's sleep must have been had, because you woke up feeling fantastic. Feel free to check out the shops or restaurants... Or maybe you'd rather go for a walk around the beautiful Biodome! Whatever you decide to do, it's sure to be enjoyable.
Perhaps you woke up here already pregnant... Better check with your scientist before heading off through the ship, since your health is very important to them.
B. Surprise!
You didn't know it before, but you're now officially pregnant. What are you pregnant with? Another member of the ship's child? An alien? A monster? Whatever it is, you're going to have to explain to someone (maybe your best friend... maybe more) that you're pregnant now, and that's bound to be an interesting conversation... Good luck.
Of course, if you're really unfortunate, you might be going through a very fast nine hour pregnancy. Did you just grow bigger right in front of someone's eyes?
C. The Pregnant Life
Things certainly seem to be improving now that you're pregnant. Shops are more willing to help you and people are generally nicer. There's even that stranger who's been making eyes towards you. Well, hey, you're already knocked up with whatever's inside, so might as well go off and have some fun if that's your thing.
D. Cravings
Now you're craving something. Is it food? There's plenty of places to get food.
Something to do? Plenty of things to do around the ship! Maybe get a part time job until the baby's born?
Someone to do? Well, no one's saying you can't offer yourself up. After all, there's always someone interested in the pregnancy experience.
E. The Baby's Coming
You've got another issue to deal with now. You can feel it happening, the thing moving through your body. One small problem, though? You're not anywhere near the scientists. So someone else has got to help you out.
Better go quickly, seems like this one is moving very fast.

The book is snapped up over Yuri's face as he hunches his shoulders at the nickname. Along with the nickname was a voice that was too familiar to give Yuri any hope that it was someone else coming up with such a ludicrous alteration to his given name.
Of all people to be here it needed to be Yuuri?
It was obvious in Yuuri's walking pace that Yuri hadn't dodged being recognized or some how vanished into thin air once the book was over his face.
"Not following you if that's what you're thinking!"
He held the book against himself without the immediate realization he was trying to hide the small bump that had been forming. Yuuri would surely know why Yuri was here considering that the man was here himself. There was nothing to really hide at this junction of the interaction.
"What are you doing here? You don't have any reason to be here."
no subject
The question was a good choice, as it's got Yuuri turning beet red and turning away shyly. Did he really want to tell him that he'd gotten drunk again and signed a contract he didn't even remember?
"It's not something I'm proud of. I don't really want to get into it... but, a lot of people are going to be worried about you. I just don't understand..."
The Russian had him at an impasse. Neither of them should be here, yet here they were.
no subject
"They know I'm busy."
His voice was clipped, irritated a moment longer. Then he's shrugging, waving his hand flippantly as he lets the book drop away. No point in trying to hide something they both knew perfectly well was there. Yuri's frame was simply too small to effectively hide anything of this sort.
"Victor is the one who will be worried. And how would you even explain any of this?"
He crosses his arms, finger still holding his place in the book.
"At least I don't need to explain anything to anyone."
no subject
"I know. I know. The truth is... I don't remember what happened. I thought I'd be okay having a few drinks. Victor told me I should just enjoy myself. Next thing I know I'm here and they have a contract I clearly signed... I don't even know if he knows where I am. But I made an agreement. I need to own up to my stupidity."
There it was, spilling out rapid fire as Yuuri tended to do when he was panicking. However, he tried to shake it off, remembering what the scientists had talked about regarding stress and the life he was carrying. It wasn't its fault he was irresponsible. Whatever it was. He had to take good care of it.
"... sorry. You don't want to hear all that. And you probably don't want me to treat you like a little kid, either."
no subject
"I don't see how any contract you signed when you were drunk should be valid."
A different route to take in the conversation. It didn't make sense to him. Contracts were supposed to be made with fully aware parties, not with a drunk idiot who couldn't hold his liquor. Though considering the amount of liquor that Yuuri drank to get that drunk... Not even a bear could hold that.
"I never wanted you to treat me like a little kid! Why do I have to come all the way out here for you to decide that?!"
Obviously despite the same talks that they had in regards to stress Yuri had no problem with escalating his irritation to loud anger. A bit counterproductive to him wanting to be treated like an adult to be sure.
"I hope you don't expect me to take care of you up here! I'm not Victor, I won't hold your hand or pet your hair or whatever!"
no subject
It was true that without Victor around he felt a little lonely. He'd gone from someone who shied away from affectionate contact to someone who craved it, especially when he was feeling anxious. But he knew the younger skater too well to think he'd ever fill that void.
"Anyway, it's too late now." he continues, looking down at his stomach, "I'm just going to go through with it."
no subject
"It definitely IS too late if you think you can just go back home with a fat stomach that no amount of dieting will fix."
Try explaining that one to Victor. No, better to stay there at least for as long as he was required to.
"You aren't getting attached to it are you?"
Yuri's voice held a note of suspicion. It would do no good to get attached to something they were supposed to be giving away. It wasn't in Yuri's plan anyway to get attached to anything that came out of his body.
no subject
Among the things the scientists had told him was that thanks to the hormones and his personality, it was normal that he'd develop some maternal instincts. They would fade after he was done, they assured him, but sometimes they could feel quite strong.
"I'm just going to do the best I can. It's not like I want anything bad to happen to it... you're the same, right?"
Yuuri had figured out fairly quickly that Yuri wasn't quite the distant loner he wanted to portray himself as. It was why it was easy to take his harshness in stride. Besides, teenage years were tough enough without all the pressures of being a top skater.
no subject
Was Yuuri kidding? Yuri didn't care about what happened to this thing. It was something that was growing in him. That much was true. To consider it anything he would feel a sense of kinship with was pushing things. It was better to not acknowledge it as anything really living.
The plan was to have this one. And then the next and the next. There was no plan to see it or care for it. Only to do what he had signed papers to do. Be pregnant. Have the thing. Pass it to the scientists.
That was the intention.
"If it dies then it dies. If it doesn't then it doesn't. It is nothing to me. Just a thing in my stomach that will eventually be taken out of my stomach for a new thing to be put in."
To see it as nothing more than that was the intention of course. But even best intentions could fall apart. Yuri only needed to stay focused to keep on task.
no subject
Why did they want him for this? Wasn't it obvious he wasn't cut out for it? People who thought like Yuri were ideal, right? But then he remembered his conversation with Chiaki. She seemed more like him.
"... yeah. I guess. I'm... I'll be around. If you do need anything."
no subject
Perhaps he was wrong in trying to distance himself as well? Or was that just his deeply buried beneath sixteen layers of angry teenage concrete desire to impress the Japanese man?
Well it both couldn't and could be the latter because first of all - there was none of that desire. And secondly Yuri was in the right here. They couldn't be attached to something that was just being taken away.
"I guess. Don't expect me to need anything."
His voice was still a little clipped. Then he smacks Yuuri's arm with the book he was holding, probably harder than he needed to.
"And stop moping! If you want to love it then love it! Not like anything less could be expected, you mother everyone."
Yuri crosses his arms again, glaring off while trying to look at least a little cool.
"Even me and I don't need it!"
