A. Welcome to The Ship

Arriving to the ship for the first time can be disorientating, but there are maps everywhere. A good night's sleep must have been had, because you woke up feeling fantastic. Feel free to check out the shops or restaurants... Or maybe you'd rather go for a walk around the beautiful Biodome! Whatever you decide to do, it's sure to be enjoyable.

Perhaps you woke up here already pregnant... Better check with your scientist before heading off through the ship, since your health is very important to them.

B. Surprise!

You didn't know it before, but you're now officially pregnant. What are you pregnant with? Another member of the ship's child? An alien? A monster? Whatever it is, you're going to have to explain to someone (maybe your best friend... maybe more) that you're pregnant now, and that's bound to be an interesting conversation... Good luck.

Of course, if you're really unfortunate, you might be going through a very fast nine hour pregnancy. Did you just grow bigger right in front of someone's eyes?

C. The Pregnant Life

Things certainly seem to be improving now that you're pregnant. Shops are more willing to help you and people are generally nicer. There's even that stranger who's been making eyes towards you. Well, hey, you're already knocked up with whatever's inside, so might as well go off and have some fun if that's your thing.

D. Cravings

Now you're craving something. Is it food? There's plenty of places to get food.

Something to do? Plenty of things to do around the ship! Maybe get a part time job until the baby's born?

Someone to do? Well, no one's saying you can't offer yourself up. After all, there's always someone interested in the pregnancy experience.

E. The Baby's Coming

You've got another issue to deal with now. You can feel it happening, the thing moving through your body. One small problem, though? You're not anywhere near the scientists. So someone else has got to help you out.

Better go quickly, seems like this one is moving very fast.

1. The Doctor Is In

This place continued to baffle him the longer he stuck around, the procedures mostly in place, having to watch himself if he didn't want to end up like those a part of the experiment proper. It wasn't... too hard for him to do, given the fascination with how any of this was possible between entirely different genetic codes, non-humanoids, manners of birth and reproduction being entirely unlike humanoids, and just those who shouldn't be able to support life being able to now. It was all absolutely fascinating to take in and learn the methods behind the madness, to an extent, he'd been started off slowly enough with just keeping tracks on the... patients, as it were.

Make sure there were no adverse reactions, that everything was healthy, no one was under undue stress, quell any particularly bad habits... that sort of thing. Mundane work, but he'd work his way up soon enough.

Flipping through his file on this particular patient (he'd insisted on paper records on top of electronic due to the possibility of a computer error, how they hadn't been doing that before honestly bothered him) he hums softly to himself, adjusting his glasses before turning his attention towards that examination table.

"Well, then, care to tell me how things have been going for you? Or any complaints, for that matter?"

2. Outside his habitat

One of the rare times he'd bother going out and looking around, preferring to have some tranquility and silence to himself once he was away from... people. His clothing has changed since coming to this place, primarily that it was more simple than he'd had back home. Fingerless gloves were still a staple of his attire, primarily a comfort thing and he still insisted on wearing shoes that hadn't completely covered his feet (unless he had to deal with someone on the verge of birth, he'd learned not to do that the hard way, yuck) while out on his own.

Other than that it was just a typical t-shirt like attire and capri pants, nothing that would cause the man to stand out other than the fact he very clearly was not pregnant like the rest of the ship tended to be at some point or another. Which was perfectly fine by him, preferring to be in control of his own actions and emotions than hormones altering them.

As long as no one disturbed him, he was very keen on just getting his supplies for his home and leaving.

Mirage has been here for two years now, so she was old hat at this routine. She lay belly up on the table, allowing the doctor a clear view of her abdomen and vent to utilize as he saw necessary. From the waist up, she appears to be a normal human woman, well developed and healthy. Below the waist, however, there is nothing but the coils of a snake, the thick musculature of a constrictor patterned in shades of brown with a rainbow sheen when the light hits just right. The wide scales of her underside, however, are pale cream and make a stark contrast to the dark browns of her scales and skin. Her genitals are hidden under one such wide scale in the place where a human woman's parts would be between her hips.

"Things are going just fine, Doctor," she said casually, offering an assuring smile to the human. She was a caring sort from the start, and her hospitality extended to both staff and patients. "This past pregnancy was very easy. Such a small infant."

Honestly, the snake bit hardly bothered him given his experiences with the more feral variety and his teacher's... odd methods. If anything, he was far more knowledgable and comfortable with that aspect. He's tapping a pen against his clipboard, a faint smile on his lips.

At least she's cooperative, better than some others he could name. "Well, good to hear. Not something I hear as frequently as I like, but that's simply a matter of mismatches from the higher ups traumatizing new volunteers with pregnancies they can't handle..." He might have a few opinions on that topic.

"For something that's supposedly optional..." He trails off before silencing himself, no need to spout off something like that.

The naga was far too grateful for her life and far too gentle in nature to be anything less than cooperative when it came to people who were nothing but kind to her, or at the very least doing their jobs. Don't eat the messenger, as they say.

"Yes, I've had to console many mothers in recent months about the load they were bearing," she admitted, looking a bit dour about that fact. "The rules have gotten lax about full disclosure and consent."

"Uh, well..."

Prompto looked nervous, scratching his chin as he sat there. Honestly, he never liked this sort of thing. Scientists and doctors, always freaked him out. At a month and a half of this rather fast pregnancy, he felt like a balloon. He had removed his shirt, and gave Kabuto a very good look at exactly what this pregnant man looked like.

"...Besides needing to pee all the time? I'm fine, I think."

He's rather hot, his face is pretty red. But he's insisting he's fine.
